Marc Bonagura is an Associate Professor of English at Brookdale Community College in Lincroft, New Jersey. He received a Master’s Degree in Creative Writing from the University of Georgia in 1988 and has taught writing and literature at a number of colleges including the University of Georgia.

Marc's father, Michael John Bonagura (1923-1993), fought on Guadalcanal with the 1st Marine Division (Fifth Marines, 2nd Battalion).
